Brand Identity

The Scope

  • The goal of this project was to create a compelling new brand identity for Nimble Outdoor, a digital billboard company dedicated to showcasing and enhancing other brands. They wanted an eye-catching and intentional design to highlight their role in helping brands shine. The concept we ended on was called "Digital Liftoff," which captures the essence of a launchpad for a company's ideas. This concept represents the transformative power of digital billboard advertising in visually propelling a company forward.

  • One of the primary challenges was to create a brand identity that was both eye-catching and clean, without distracting from the brands Nimble Outdoor represents. Achieving a balance between being visually appealing and maintaining a subtlety that complements other brands was crucial. Additionally, it was essential to ensure that the brand identity accurately reflected the key attributes of being dynamic, efficient, and technologically advanced, which required thoughtful and deliberate design decisions.

  • The branding needed to reflect attributes such as being Clean, Media-focused, Dynamic, Fast/Quick, Digital, Efficient, Technologically advanced, and having extensive Reach. Through competitor analysis, we found that successful designs were often clean, simple, and abstract/subtle to avoid distracting from the brands they represented. This provided an opportunity to create a brand identity for Nimble Outdoor that stood out while adhering to these principles. The "Digital Liftoff" concept was developed to encapsulate the idea of a launchpad for company ideas, symbolizing the power of digital billboard advertising to propel companies forward.
